What to Expect

My Commitment to Our Work Together

What you’ll find here is straightforward: a therapist who takes your concerns seriously, asks real questions, and works with you - not at you.

My Practice was built around a simple conviction: that barriers standing between people and care - time, stigma, lack of in-person access - are worth pushing back against. So I work to meet you where you are, with in-person or virtual sessions that fit your weekday commitments and a style of care that respects your individuality.

In my office, good care starts with honesty - with you, and about what therapy can do. I believe that mental health support should be easier to reach for those that want to make time for it, not just those that can navigate a complicated system.

Convenience & Professionalism

I make therapy more accessible by not requiring you to rearrange your life to make it work. Consistency is where the real progress happens.

That’s why I offer weekday evening appointments after office hours - a way to do this work while living a full life (early morning hours coming soon!).

Whether you’re fitting sessions after a packed workday, you have the options of meeting at my office, a central location that’s easily accessible by public transit, or virtual sessions in the comfort of your DC space.

Integrity-Based Practices

As a licensed clinical social worker, I am accountable to the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics and hold myself responsible to its core values: service, social justice, dignity and worth of a person, importance of human relationships, integrity and competence.

I am dedicated to providing a level of care that I’d feel confident about friend, myself or family member getting; that’s my mission and standard.

That means I am intentional about making a space where I don’t create or participate in racism, ageism, identity discrimination or intentional harm towards marginalized groups. My work intends to ensure you feel valued, acknowledged, and empowered while working together.
