My Story

I became a therapist because I couldn’t find the one I was looking for.

A green leather sofa with rounded armrests in a room with light-colored walls and wooden flooring. Behind the sofa, there is a tall indoor plant with large dark green leaves and another plant with long, pointed leaves that are green with yellow markings. To the right, there is a white floor lamp with a black tripod stand.

My approach is direct without being blunt, structured without being rigid. I pull from DBT, CPT, ACT, Narrative therapy, and Motivational Interviewing — not because I follow any one script, but because different moments call for different tools. Some sessions we’ll map patterns. Some we’ll sit with hard feelings. Some we’ll get practical and build actual skills. Most of the time, we’ll do a little of all three.

I work best with adults in their 20s through 50s who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or recovery — people who are self-aware enough to know something needs to shift but aren’t sure how to make it happen. I have deep experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, and my practice is affirming without asterisks.

I don’t believe healing means becoming someone new. I believe it means finally understanding who you already are — and deciding what to carry forward.
